We’re so excited to share a new installation at the farm, inspired by our ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ Strawberry Festival theme this year.

Our new ‘Field of 1,000 Hearts’ covers a portion of the farm with exactly 1,000 red and pink wooden hearts. It’s a beautiful backdrop for fun summer photos, and we’ve decided to make it a philanthropic event as well.

There will be a $2 entrance fee for each person wishing to use the Field of 1,000 hearts for photos. All of the proceeds from each month’s entrance fees will be collected in a large mailbox staked by the new installation and donated to a different charity. Here’s a list of the beneficiaries we’re selected so far:

  • June: BAGLY — the Boston Alliance of Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer Youth!
  • July: Family Reach
  • August: Massachusetts/NH chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

We’re thrilled to introduce this fun new backdrop to the community while supporting local organizations we really believe in. We hope you’ll come out and enjoy it!

(Please note: professional photographers hoping to use the Field of 1,000 hearts for photoshoots will need to apply for a separate permit, which you can see here.)
