Hello Smolak Farms family! Can you believe it’s already August?! This summer is surely flying by. It has been a busy one here, and if we haven’t seen you yet, we hope we will before it’s back-to-school time, temps are dropping, days shortening, and the fall season settling back in. It certainly seems like summer just began, and yet here it is almost passing us by!
A lot has been going on at the farm. We had one of our biggest strawberry crops ever, a long and abundant cherry-picking season, and now we’re working our way through PYO blueberries, raspberries, and peaches! In fact, our popular Peach Festival weekend is coming up August 14-15. Keep an eye on our social media, or sign up for our newsletter so you don’t miss the announcement and important details!
We’ve also got a field full of beautiful cut-your-own sunflowers open right now, which make for a bright and cheery addition to your home or outdoor entertaining space!
We’re about to embark on the last month of our popular Whim Dinner Series, with a few amazing restaurants left to go. If you haven’t gotten tickets to one of our alfresco farm dinners yet, there is still time! We’re so excited to welcome CLINK at the Liberty Hotel, Ruka Restobar, and Mastro’s Ocean Club to the farm for three more incredible dinners. You can get tickets here!
We continue to offer the usual good stuff, like weekly farm stand specials, fresh-baked pie with freshly picked farm fruit, hop-on hayrides, picnics in the orchards, and visits with our animals! Come on by and see us soon.
