Smolak Farms Farm Stand is open and ready with gifts and decorations for you and your home. If you are looking for wreaths and roping, we have an assortment of styles and sized from which to choose.
Our bakery is always on standby to take your special Christmas orders and always remember our traditional Gingerbread Houses.
Christmas Trees at Smolak Farms
We believe that the perfect Christmas tree is the one that you choose with your family!
We will have hundreds of fresh, beautiful Fraser Fir and Balsam Fir pre-cut and cut-your-own trees to choose from in a variety of sizes, in addition to an assortment of wreaths, ornaments, gifts and Christmas decor in the greenhouse and farm stand. See more details on our Christmas Trees!

Christmas Tree Lighting
Join us on Saturday, November 27th for our annual Smolak Farms Tree Lighting! Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa or cider and a famous cider donut while we kick off the holiday season with crafts for the kids, fun photo opps, a singalong with the Zackleys, and of course, a visit from Santa!
Activities in the barn will begin at 3:30pm. Santa will arrive and we’ll light the tree around 6:00pm!
Kids will need a wristband to participate in offered activities in the barn. Each kids wristband will include access for one adult chaperone (due to barn capacity limits). Additional adults can be purchased for $3.
Wristbands are $12/child and include:
- make-your-own Christmas ornament
- cider donut
- animal food
- a letter to Santa
If you’d just like to attend the tree lighting, enjoy live music, and snap a photo with Santa, that’s all free and open to all!
**This year we will be collecting donations for Daybreak Shelter in Lawrence, MA! They are in need of toiletries, socks, underwear, etc. All donations are so appreciated!**
Santa’s Workshop
We’ll have Santa’s Workshop open each Saturday and Sunday from 2-4pm, November 28 through December 19th. On December 11th, Santa’s workshop will run from 10am-4pm!
Kids tickets are $12 each, and include a photo with Santa, ornament decorating, a letter to Santa, and a cider donut!
Payment will be collected at the farm at the time of the event.
Gingerbread House Workshop
We welcome kids to come decorate their own gingerbread house! You supply the creativity, we supply the rest. Tickets cost $48.95 per gingerbread house, and that price includes candy, frosting, and a cider donut.
Workshops will take place from 11am – 12:15pm on the following dates: December 4th, 11th, and 18th.
Two guests per ticket/house limit. Extra guests cost $10 due to capacity limits in the Greenhouse.

Storytime with Santa’s Favorite Elf
Kids will enjoy a different Christmas story every week during the month of December! This event will take place on the following dates: December 1st, 3rd, 8th, 10th, 15th and 17th. These events will be held from 10-11am in the greenhouse.
Tickets cost $10/child and include a cider donut, animal feed, and a story and craft. Space is very limited, and only one adult guest per child will be allowed. Additional adults can attend for $2/each.

Holiday Cookie Decorating
Learn how to ice and flood your holiday sugar cookies! We’ll be hosting Cookie Decorating Classes in our greenhouse from 12:30-1:30pm on December 4th, 11th, and 18th.
Tickets are $15/child (includes one adult), which includes 6 cookies and all the frosting and decorations you need! Additional adults are $5.

Private Cookie Decorating Classes
Book one of our Private Holiday Cookie Decorating workshops this winter! Minimum of 7 people. Perfect for holiday gatherings!
Dates are available through the end of November and throughout December.
