This year our Strawberry Festival will be Beatles-themed, “Strawberry Fields Forever”! We will have themed hayrides, story & craft events, a Beatles-themed cow train and walking tours. We will also be featuring a newly installed Field of 1000 Hearts!

This event will take place over two weekends, June 12-13 and June 19-20.

For tickets to any of the below events, please email!

Strawberry Fields Forever Hayrides: The hay wagons and orchard will be transformed into Beatlemania! There will be a speaker on each wagon playing Beatles music throughout the ride, and the wagons will guide guests through a Magical Mystery Tour of the Smolak Farms Orchards.  There will be various stops along the way where kids will participate in a Beatles-themed activity, a photo opportunity, or strawberry picking. Hayrides run 10am-2pm on the hour and half-hour!

  • $20 per child, which includes a donut, ½ pint of strawberries (as available), a hayride, and a themed goody bag
  • $7 adult/baby

Field of 1,000 Hearts: We’re so excited to share a new installation at the farm, inspired by our ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ Strawberry Festival theme this year.

Our new ‘Field of 1,000 Hearts’ covers a portion of the farm with exactly 1,000 red and pink wooden hearts. It’s a beautiful backdrop for fun summer photos, and we’ve decided to make it a philanthropic event as well.

There will be a $2 entrance fee for each person wishing to use the Field of 1,000 hearts for photos. All of the proceeds from each month’s entrance fees will be collected in a large mailbox staked by the new installation and donated to a different charity.

To celebrate Pride month, the first month’s proceeds will be donated to BAGLY — the Boston Alliance of Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer Youth!

We’re thrilled to introduce this fun new backdrop to the community while supporting local organizations we really believe in.

(Please note: professional photographers hoping to use the Field of 1,000 hearts for photoshoots will need to apply for a separate permit, which you can see here.)

Abby Road Photo Booth: We will be setting up life-size Beatles silhouettes to recreate the iconic Abby Road crosswalk photo!

With a Little Help from My Friends Story & Craft: Story & Craft will be held under the tent in front of the Barn at 11am, 12pm and 1pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

  • $12 per child includes animal feed, donut, one nonpaying guest and friendship themed craft

Cow Train: $4 per ride!

Animal Area: free to visit, and decorated to match the theme. We’ll be playing music throughout, and animal tours will be available for $12/person.

Strawberry Festival Specials: We’ll have a special menu of strawberry baked goods available throughout the festival!

Please email for tickets to any of these events!
