It’s almost HALLOWEEN! And we’re excited to offer some fun and safe activities to celebrate! See below for our full line-up of family fun on October 31st, 2020.

 

Kids Halloween Costume Contest/Parade in the Animal Area
Prize will be given for Best Costume!
Time: 12:30pm in the animal area
Cost: $12/child (Price includes: pumpkin decorating (all supplies provided), a goody bag, cider donut and animal feed)

Space is very limited, and you MUST register by Friday, October 30th at 10:00am. You can reserve your spot by emailing education@smolakfarms.com. No tickets will be available at the time of the event.

 

Outdoor Story & Craft

Story: Room on the Broom
Craft: Paper plate witches
Picking: Apples
Times: 11am, 12pm, 1pm daily
Cost: $15/child (Price includes: story, craft, donut snack, animal feed, and a pumpkin picked by each child)
Location: White tent in front of the barn — please bring your own blankets!
Attire: we encourage kids to dress according to this week’s theme!

Reservations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the day of the event. You can reserve your spot by emailing education@smolakfarms.com. No tickets will be available at the time of the event.

 

Themed Hayrides

This weekend, our rides will be Halloween Extravaganza-themed. We encourage attendees to dress accordingly if they feel so inclined!

Cost:

  • $14 for children – includes cider donut snack, goody bag, animal feed
    $7 for adults – for hayride only

Schedule: 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm

Hop-On Hayrides

Hayride picks up and drops off next to the Information Booth. Reservations are not necessary, and tickets can be purchased at the Information Booth.

Cost: $7 for anyone ages 2 and up

 

Apple Picking

Pricing for the 2020 season is as follows:

  • $25 – peck
  • $40 – half-bushel ($5 extra for a woven basket you get to keep)
  • $2 entrance fee/person
