DESCRIPTION:Smolak Farms and Firehouse Center for the Arts are thrilled to present the Stephen Schwartz classic – Godspell.  \nGodspell was the first major musical theatre offering from three-time Grammy and Academy Award winner\, Stephen Schwartz (Wicked\, Pippin\, Children of Eden); and it took the world by storm. Led by the international hit\, “Day by Day\,” Godspell features a parade of beloved songs\, including “Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord\,” “Learn Your Lessons Well\,” “All for the Best\,” “All Good Gifts\,” “Turn Back\, O Man” and “By My Side.” \nA small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games\, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs\, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville\, is employed as the story of Jesus’ life dances across the stage. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our popular Peach Festival weekend! We’re offering a variety of different summer-themed activities and loads of peach goodies in the farm stand. See below for full details. \n  \nCarnival Area: we welcome our younger friends to come play some carnival games\, take a cow train ride\, and perhaps get some festive face painting done! \nCost:  $15/wristband\, which includes carnival games (10 tickets\, play games to earn more tickets or turn in for prizes)\, cow train rides\, and face painting \n  \nPeach picking: takes place in the peach orchard across from the barn \nCost: $3.99/lb \n  \nBlueberry picking: our blueberry fields are near animal area & cow train \nCost: $6.99/pint \n  \nHop on Hayrides: available throughout the weekend \nCost: $7/person for those 2+ (no charge for those under 2 years of age) \n  \nConcessions: we’ll have a full menu of concessions items available\, including hamburgers\, cheeseburgers\, hot dogs\, pulled pork\, pizza\, mac & cheese\, peach themed desserts \n  \nBar: a bar serving beer & wine will be set up in the festival tent behind the Farm Stand\, featuring beers from Lord Hobo Brewery\, Adult Freeze Pops and Peach Sangria! \n  \nLive music: we’ll be welcoming Ryan Maher back to the farm from 12-3pm for some live music! \n
