The animal area will also be open for visiting. Please see below for this week’s offerings — we can’t wait to host you at the farm! \n  \nOutdoor Story & Craft (with Apple Picking!) \nWe’re excited to be offering one of our popular Story & Craft events in the great outdoors during our Fun Fall Weekends! DESCRIPTION:Join us on September 12th for our Roaring 20’s Themed Doll Carriage Parade! Children of all ages are invited to decorate doll carriages\, bikes\, wheelchairs\, scooters\, or anything with wheels in line with our Roaring 20’s themed-weekend. Get out your sequins and fringe and get creative! We’ll be gathering in the Smolak Farms Animal Area\, and prizes will be given for various categories! \nSpace is very limited due to social distancing guidelines. Please email education@smolakfarms.com to secure your space. \nCost: $10 entry fee\, which includes a cider donut\, a bag of animal feed\, a goody bag\, and 10% off food and ice cream in the farm stand. All entrants will have a chance to win the top prizes! \nMasks must be worn at all times (in accordance with Massachusetts age guidelines). Sanitizer will be available throughout the farm. One parent per child will be allowed in the areas\, others are welcome to watch in accordance with social distancing.

DESCRIPTION:In response to the Covid-19 social distancing protocol\, we have been working on fun new ways to invite the community to enjoy our historic farm. We would like to introduce\, the Smolak Farms Walking Tour! What better way to spend a beautiful summer day than to learn about all of the delicious crops and adorable animals that live here at Smolak Farms. Guests will be guided on a walk around the farm where they will learn about different crops\, the history of the farm\, and of course\, our animals! The tour includes one of our delicious cider donuts to enjoy along the way\, as well as some animal feed to give our wide array of animals at the end of the tour. Join us to see why Smolak Farms is one of the most loved attractions in the Merrimack Valley! \nCost:  $12 per person\, children under 2 free \nDuration: approximately 1 hour \nTimes: Saturdays 11am and 12pm\, Sundays 12pm and 1pm \nLocation: tours meet in the small parking lot next to the Antique Orchard\, in front of the Education Office \nBe sure to purchase your tickets ahead of time by emailing education@smolakfarms.com. DESCRIPTION:In response to the Covid-19 social distancing protocol\, we have been working on fun new ways to invite the community to enjoy our historic farm. We would like to introduce\, the Smolak Farms Walking Tour! What better way to spend a beautiful summer day than to learn about all of the delicious crops and adorable animals that live here at Smolak Farms. Guests will be guided on a walk around the farm where they will learn about different crops\, the history of the farm\, and of course\, our animals! The tour includes one of our delicious cider donuts to enjoy along the way\, as well as some animal feed to give our wide array of animals at the end of the tour. Join us to see why Smolak Farms is one of the most loved attractions in the Merrimack Valley! \nCost:  $12 per person\, children under 2 free \nDuration: approximately 1 hour \nTimes: Saturdays 11am and 12pm\, Sundays 12pm and 1pm \nLocation: tours meet in the small parking lot next to the Antique Orchard\, in front of the Education Office \nBe sure to purchase your tickets ahead of time by emailing education@smolakfarms.com. Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes prior to tour time and make sure to have a mask as they are required to take the tour. \nAnyone without a mask will not be allowed to participate.
