Fall is a magical time at Smolak Farms, and our Fall Festivals are the highlight of the season! Every weekend in September and October, we transform the farm into a vibrant celebration with unique themes, fun-filled activities, and unforgettable experiences for the whole family. The best part? Admission to the farm is always free! Plus, we offer special experiences like Hayrides, Cow Train Rides, and Games, which you can sign up for at the Information Booth.

Please note that apple season is over. We have an assortment of loose apples available in the Farm Stand, but there picking season is over. Thank you for your understanding.

Halloween Fall Festival Weekend

Don’t forget that our Farm Stand (7am to 6pm) and Ice Cream Stand (11am to 6pm) will be open every day!

Saturday, October 26th

8am to 4:15pm

Pick-Your-Own Pumpkins!
 Visit the patch and find the perfect pumpkin to take home – whether you’re carving it into a spooky jack-o’-lantern or baking it into a delicious pie, the options are endless!

10am to 3pm

  • Hop-on Hayrides

  • Animal Playground & Viewing Area

11am to 3pm

  • Tractor Trunk Truck or Treat: Tickets are $20 per child and include the following: Exclusive access to our trunk or treat lot; One sugar pumpkin; A hop on hayride ticket; One fresh apple cider donut; animal feed, Pictures with characters; and Candy in each trunk.  Tickets can be purchased at the Information Booth on Saturday upon arrival! We ask that you bring your own special trunk or treat bag!

 Take a ride through the farm and meet some Halloween characters along the way. Each young adventurer will receive a goodie bag filled with a donut, animal feed, a Halloween-themed treat, and a sugar pumpkin for more fun!
  • Departure Times: Every hour from 10:30am to 2:30pm
Pricing: $22/child (with goodie bag) | $7/adult
 (No pre-purchase of tickets is available. Space is limited, so tickets are first come, first serve.)

Sunday Fall Fun Deluxe Package – $26/child

  • Includes 1 bag of animal feed, 1 spin art, 2 hayrides, 1 cow train ride, and two mini pumpkins to be picked out of a patch

Our Farm Stand is stocked with seasonal baked goods, meals-to-go, fall decorations, and a wide selection of farm-fresh vegetables and fruits, including crisp apples in Mac, Gala, and Cortland varieties.

  • Cider Donuts: Don’t miss our legendary cider donuts—ranked #2 in New England! Swing by the Farm Stand to taste why they’re a crowd favorite.
  • Animal Playground: Visit our furry friends and check out the Smolak Xpress train. Make sure to bring some treats to feed the animals!
  • Ice Cream: No visit is complete without trying our world-famous cider donut ice cream—perfect for a sweet end to a fun day!
