Whim: Celebrating Farm-to-Table Dining

Whim is Smolak Farms’ signature summer farm-to-table dinner series, held on select Wednesday evenings beneath the Pine Grove tent. Each experience features a thoughtfully crafted multi-course meal prepared by some of New England’s most talented chefs using the freshest seasonal ingredients. Designed to celebrate community, creativity, and the beauty of dining outdoors, every Whim dinner offers a unique menu inspired by the harvest and shared, as always, “on a Whim.”

Please check back often as we will be revealing farm-to-table menus and event details for each of our featured Whim dinners through the end of August. Tickets are $134.20 per person and include tax and gratuity. A portion of every ticket purchased supports the chef’s charity of choice. Beverages will be available for purchase separately.

All of our Whim Dinner series events feature a pre-fixed menu that are prepared under our Smolak Farms tent. Our chefs will do their best to accommodate any dietary or allergen restrictions that we are made aware of ahead of time. Unfortunately we may not be able to accommodate last minute requests since the meals will be prepared on site. Due to the volume of food being prepared by the chef, we are unable to accommodate food preferences. Allergies are accommodated and final.

Below is a schedule of confirmed 2026 Whim Dinner events. For each dinner, cocktail hour starts at 5:30pm and dinner is served at 6:30pm. The event must conclude at 9:00pm. We look forward to a wonderful summer of Dinner on a Whim with you!
