2013 SUMMER NATURE & CRAFT PROGRAM

Come and experience life on a working farm! Our goal this year is to give your child a fun, safe and educational look at farming and nature. All new activities include planting and maintaining our own garden and helping care for the animals. Our program is designed for children 3½-7. Children may be grouped by age for activities.
Sign up for a full week, a day or a day each week. Same day drop-in is available.
Themes for this year include:
Week 1: Strawberry Surprises.
Week 2: Let's Plant a Garden!
Week 3: Bees, Butterflies and Bugs.
Week 4: Farm Animal Friends.
Week 5: Cowboy and Cowgirl Fun!
Week 6: Feathered Friends on the Farm.
Week 7: Tractors and Other Farm Machinery.
Week 8: Summer Harvest: Farm Fresh Foods.
Week 9: Get Ready for Apples!
Weekly ongoing activities include:
- Maintaining our garden.
- Helping to care for the animals.
- Crafts using as much natural & recycled material as possible.
- Songs and stories.
- Simple cooking and snack-making.
- Exploring the farm by hiking, nature walks and scavenger hunts.
- Occasional guest visitors.
- Fun science projects.
- Weekly Farmyard Follies: fun and old-fashioned games and challenges.
Cost: $135.00/week, $40 per day. Siblings receive 10% discount. Pre-register now or take advantage of same day sign up for an additional $10.00 per day.
