DONATIONS POLICY
DONATIONS ARE HANDLED FROM THE BUSINESS OFFICE. WE ASK THAT A LETTER ACCOMPANY EVERY REQUEST. ALL REQUESTS MUST BE RECEIVED AT LEAST 60 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF THE EVENT BY LETTER, FAX, OR E-MAIL (office@smolakfarms.com) FAX: (978) 688-8058.
DONATIONS WILL BE HONORED IN THE FORM OF A GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR ONE OF OUR CROPS OR AN EVENT AT THE FARM.
WE DO NOT MAKE CASH DONATIONS.
WE ARE MORE INCLINED TO HONOR REQUESTS FROM LOCAL SCHOOLS, CHURCHES AND GROUPS.
THE GROUPS THAT COME TO SMOLAK FARMS FOR SCHOOL TOURS WILL BE HONORED FIRST.
APPLES, PUMPKINS, DONUTS, CIDER, ETC. ARE NOT INCLUDED IN OUR DONATION POLICY.
BECAUSE OF THE NUMBER OF REQUESTS FOR DONATIONS, WE MUST LIMIT THE NUMBER TO 2 PER MONTH.
Directions
From the South (Route 93 & Boston):
Take Route 93 N to Exit 41 (Andover – North Andover, Route 125). Turn right at end of ramp. Follow Rt. 125 approximately 7 miles and turn left at traffic light at intersection with Route 114 (Royal Crest Apartments is directly across the way). You will drive past Merrimack College, which will be on your left. At next traffic light, turn right, continuing on Rt. 125. Go straight and turn right at traffic light after the 99 Restaurant (Mass Ave.). Go through North Andover’s Old Center and bear left at the fire station. Follow approximately one mile to a blinking yellow light and turn left. Follow for 2 miles and the farm will be on your left. (Look for the SMOLAK FARMS signs.)
From the North Shore, Route 95 N&S and Route 1 from Boston:
From Boston, take Route 1 to Route 95 N and take Exit 53B (Georgetown, Rt. 97 North). Turn right from off-ramp and turn left at first street. (BOXFORD VILLAGE sign) Take first right onto Ipswich Road (Boxford) and follow straight for about 6 miles. South Bradford Street is on the right. (Look for SMOLAK FARMS signs.) When taking Route 95 South, the directions are the same.
From the West and Route 495:
Take Route 495 to Exit 43 (Mass. Ave. – North Andover). Turn right coming from the South, left coming from the North. Follow for 2 miles straight, through three traffic lights to North Andover Old Center. Go through traffic circle and bear left at the fire station. Follow for one mile to a blinking yellow light and turn left. Follow for 2 miles and the farm is on the left. (Look for the SMOLAK FARMS signs.)
