The Smolak Farms Nature & Craft program is an educational program developed for children ages 4-6 years. (Children must be 4 years of age before June 23, 2009 in order to participate.) This is a 3 hour per day, weekly theme-based program.
Children will spend the days seeing, hearing, touching and exploring the farm. They will get to know our farm animals, go on nature walks and weekly hayrides. Included in the program are singing, story-telling and craft-making as the children expand their imaginations and appreciation of the world around them. Each week is based on a specific theme, such as “Simply Strawberries,” “Bugs and Butterflies,” “Fun with Nature.” The children will be treated daily to a snack of our famous cider donuts and apple juice. For an extra fee of $5 the children are welcome to bring their lunch and spend an additional supervised 1/2 hour on the farm.

$30 per day
Sign up one child for 5 days and save $25.00
Sign up two siblings for 5 days and save $75.00
Lunch Bunch: 12:00-12:30pm • Additional $5 fee
DRESS: The Nature & Craft Program is held rain or shine. Please have your child dress appropriately. All children must wear closed toe shoes.

Registration: Registration begins April 15, 2009. Come into the Education and Activities Office or call 978-687-4029 to register your child. You may also download a registration form. Space is limited to 20.
Drop-In Registration: Drop-in registration is permitted provided there is an opening for that day of class. We suggest you call the day before you intend to bring in your child. Prior to the child attending, all necessary paperwork must be completed and fees paid with the Education and Tours office.
Lunch Bunch fees must be paid before you drop your child off for the morning.
Full payment is due at the time of registration by cash, check, VISA or MasterCard. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
